Madison Scheidemantle is a sophomore at Mercyhurst University, where she studies dance and business. Prior to college, she trained at New Castle Regional Ballet for 15 years. During her time at NCRB, Madison studied under Leslie Bories, Elissa Cowher, Melinda Howe, Debbie Parou, Sarah Purvis, Pat Sorrel, and Megan Trambley. She has performed the Sugar Plum Pas de Deux and the Arabian Solo in NCRB’s The Nutcracker. Madison attended Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s summer intensive for eleven consecutive summers. In addition to her dance training, Madison was awarded the Lawrence County Distinguished Young Woman talent award for her performance of the Kitri variation from Don Quixote. This is Madison’s first year with Erie Dance Conservatory teaching Ballet and rehearsing.
