Grace Twitchell has trained with the Erie Dance Conservatory under the tutelage of Sarah Purvis since 2003 and has been a member of the Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre since 2012. She has performed in leading roles such as “Russian Candy Canes” in The Nutcracker and “Lead Grinchette” in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She has danced in Kijuanta Lucas’ Untamed, William B. McClellan Jr.’s Urgency, Melissa Bobick’s Holberg Suite and Starland, Jon Lehrer’s A Ritual Dynamic, Ashley Walton’s Aloft, Solace in Light and Abandon, and many more. She has worked with master teachers such as Alaine Haubert, Melissa Bowman, and Cornelius Carter to name a few. She has been accepted to many summer dance programs like Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Advanced Summer Program, and Point Park International Summer Dance Intensive. Besides entertaining audiences in Erie, PA, Ms. Twitchell has performed with Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre is Pittsburgh, PA, Harrisburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Manchester, NH, Phoenix, AZ, and Montreal, Québec, Canada. This is Grace’s first year as a faculty member of Erie Dance Conservatory.
