Modern & Contemporary
Growing up in Erie, PA, Corinne Justine has actively pursued a professional career since the age of six. She started her training at Lake Erie ballet, participated in Mercyhurst Preparatory School's dance company, trained at Erie Dance Theater, and competed in national conventions. Her hard work and dedication lead her to be able to pursue her dreams and attend The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, receiving her BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance with an emphasis in composition and choreography. While at her time at the The Conservatory, Corinne has participated in residencies with Jessica Castro, Zoe Scofield, Jennifer Archibald, and Mark Morris Dance Company member, Marjourie Folkman. Some of her favorite performances include the student bodies 2018 Bruno Mars Tribute Show, Té Atana’s Lady and the Champ music video and dancing at the 2019 Berklee commencement in front of Missy Elliot and Justin Timberlake. She has had the wonderful opportunity to co-choreograph Bare: A Pop Opera musical, music videos, and collaborate with fellow artists in the Boston community. Most recently, she has refined practice by launching the conservatories Commercial Dance Club with co-creator Evangelos Theodorou in 2018, created FLUX, a film centered around shared experiences and emotions, and performed in Carla Hughes piece All Rhythm No Blues at the 2020 Erie’s Jazz and Blues Festival Broadcasted on TV. Corinne is thrilled to join Erie Dance Conservatory as a faculty member teaching Modern and Contemporary forms of dance.
